Day 1
Welcome to Spain!
Barcelona is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Our guide will meet you at the airport (provided that tourists are taking the same flight) and guide you to the hotel. During this day, you will get along with the guide and listen to short stories about Catalonia and Barcelona.
Day 2
Start our journey by studying the work of Antonio Gaudí. We cannot leave this box unchecked. Let’s start the tour with a meeting in the hotel lobby and a brief story about the life and work of Antoni Gaudí. Then we will transfer to the bus and hit the road. Our attention will be brought to the famous architectural monuments of the authorship of Antonio Gaudi with audio guides (entrance fees included). After a delight for the eyes, there must be a delight for the stomach, so we will move to a restaurant and taste the most famous dish of Catalonia, Paella! (a portion of Paella and a glass of wine are included in the price).
Day 3
After such an eventful day, we suggest you spend the morning on the beach or walk around the city on your own. At 16.00 we invite you to appreciate the city from a bird’s eye view. We will go to the funicular in a comfortable minibus. You will be able to enjoy the city’s beauty from a bird’s eye view. The funicular will take you to the most beautiful park in Barcelona, from where we can walk to the building of the Royal Palace. During the walk, you will find an exciting quiz on the work of Antoni Gaudí with prizes (fare on the funicular is included). After the walk, a comfortable minibus will take you to the hotel.
Day 4
We continue to study the art of Barcelona. The history of this city is connected with the creativity of many talented people known all over the world. We offer you two of the world’s most famous museums. Pablo Picasso Museum and Museum of Modern Art. Both museums are considered to be the pearls of world art. You will be able to appreciate with your own eyes that Barcelona is the world center for collecting art objects from different centuries and the present. Pick up at the hotel and walk to the Picasso Museum (tickets to exhibitions are included in the price). After the museum, we invite you to visit a traditional Spanish restaurant located nearby, share your impressions of a busy day, and taste the local wine (a glass of wine and light snacks are included in the price).
Day 5
A day to relax. We invite you to walk to the beach and enjoy the warm sun and the sea for half a day. At 18.00 we are waiting for you to visit a restaurant with the best Sangria in Catalonia (a glass of Sangria and light snacks included in the price).
Afternoon activities: walking through the Gothic quarter with a guide, exploring unusual streets and houses, shopping in local shops.
Day 6
Sagrada Familia. It’s time to return to the work of Antonio Gaudí and see the symbol of Barcelona with your own eyes. The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, or Sagrada Familia as it is also called, is perhaps the most famous building of the great Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. In 2005, this building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. We will meet in the hotel lobby, listen to a short introductory lecture, and go to the Majestic Monument on a comfortable bus (tickets included).
Day 7
We invite you to relax and take a walk through the streets of Barcelona on your own, taste local delicacies (a list of recommended places to visit will be offered to you depending on your preferences on the spot), or spend a day on the beach. Shopping lovers will be able to appreciate getting to the Outlet and shopping at very attractive prices (transfer to the outlet and back included in the price).
Day 8
It’s time to move to the resort town and appreciate its charm. On the way, we will visit one of the charming wineries of the Costa Daurada region, where you can taste local wines and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscapes (light snacks and tasting are included in the price). Moving to the Costa Daurada region of La Ampolla.
Day 9
We invite you to enjoy your vacation on the beach leisurely, appreciate the gentle sea’s tenderness, taste local dishes, stroll to local restaurants, and taste seafood dishes that this region is famous for. Spend this day alone with yourself and your thoughts.
Day 10
We invite you to spend the morning on the beach, and in the evening meet and try to become a chef for a while, preparing a couple of local dishes washed down with excellent local wine. Catalonia is known for the excellent quality of its products, so why not give it a try? All products that will be used in the master class are grown in Catalonia and are environmentally friendly. Fragrant vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, fish or meat… can anything be tastier? (the cost of participation in the master class and a glass of wine are included in the package tour)
Day 11
Do you know how oysters and mussels are grown? Would you like to see it with your own eyes? Then we invite you on an excursion to the oyster farm, where you can see with your own eyes how oysters are grown and hear a brief story about how a delicious delicacy grows from a tiny grain of sand? A comfortable boat will take you to the oyster farm, where you can taste the freshest oysters and mussels, washed down with a glass of wine or cava. Petting a charming cat that lives on a farm is included in the price of the tour but is not guaranteed by the organizer) This unforgettable trip will remain in your memories forever.
Day 12
After the midday heat subsides, we invite you to take a ride to the region’s capital and see the beautiful historical city of Tarragona and walk along its streets on your own. Evening excursion to Tarragona (guide services and transfer included in the price, meals not included in the price)
Day 13
Spend this day on the beach, enjoying the warm, gentle waters of the Mediterranean sea. As a final chord, we invite you to meet at a wine tasting and drink wine in the company of the people with whom you spent this unforgettable holiday. A selection of regional wines and light snacks are included in the price.
Day 14
Transfer to the Barcelona Airport (included in the price). We hope to meet again soon!
The base price of the program is 47500 NOK per person (including taxes).
Tickets for visiting all exhibitions and excursions are included in the price. Transfer from Barcelona to Costa Daurada and back is included in the price.
For the entire period, tourists are accompanied by a guide with knowledge of the Norwegian language.
Please note that some elements of the program may be replaced by equivalent experiences in case of unforeseable curcumstances.
